In a recent report released by the FSB, it was alleged that American officials have been carrying out malicious attacks through iPhone vulnerabilities. Apple vehemently denied the claims of collaborating with US intelligence agencies.

Russia’s main security agency discovered an intelligence operation involving American special services that targeted Apple mobile devices. According to the FSB, the operation involved the installation of malicious software on thousands of iPhones, including those belonging to Russian users.

The FSB claimed that Apple collaborated with the NSA in this regard, and further alleged that the company provided various opportunities to monitor relevant individuals in the United States. It was also reported that diplomats from countries like China, Israel, and Syria were at risk.

In response to the FSB’s allegations, Apple guaranteed that it did not compromise user privacy. The company stated that it does not collaborate with any government agency and resolves security vulnerabilities internally.

The allegations put forth by the FSB raise significant concerns regarding surveillance allegations against the United States. However, it appears that this situation will further complicate partnerships between technology companies and governments.
